          Do stains on the solder points of a PCB mean that components are damaged?

          Not really. There are two possible reasons, such as the PCB isn't cleaned well before welding or components are damaged.

           

          PS: In general, the process requirement of PCB pads that is smooth and clean. And flux is a kind of welding auxiliary material, which is quite helpful to remove the oxidation film, prevent oxidation and clean the pads.
